Which creative profile are you on right now?

Not how creative you are. Where you are creating from. The eleven habits of the method fall into three families: feed, sharpen and protect. Nine profiles turn around those families, and the seventy-two signatures hang between the profiles: the whole method, drawn as a map you can turn. Right now you are working from one of those profiles. Two minutes tells you which one, what shades it, and the habit to train next.

One profile leads. Another shades it.

These are the nine profiles from the map above, grouped by the family they belong to: feed an idea, sharpen it, or protect it. Each profile is named for who you become while you work from it, which is why your result will name a profile like the Cartographer or the Guardian. Your test gives you the profile you are on and the second that shades it. Nine profiles, each shaded by one of the other eight: that is seventy-two signatures in all, and one of them is yours.

How we read your answers

The Creative Profile test does not score you. It maps you. Every question offers two real ways of working, not a right answer and a wrong one, so there is nothing to game, only a direction to reveal. Your choices gather across the three families that organise the method's eleven habits: how you feed ideas, how you sharpen them, how you protect the work. The profile you land on is the orientation your choices keep returning to; the underlying one is running just beneath it. Some questions return to the same tension from a new angle, which is how the reading stays honest. What we never do is rank you: there is no top, no percentile, no better profile.

You will not find a number, a percentile or a rank anywhere here, and that is deliberate. Creativity is not a quantity you hold more or less of, and treating it like one only teaches people to perform for a scoreboard. So we tell you which profile you are on and leave how good you are out of it entirely. This is a mirror, not a measurement.

The nine profiles are our own reading of creative habits, drawn from the method's eleven, offered as a lens, not a lab result, which is why it never hands you a score.
